Is it by losing in the general elections or by selecting candidates for the presidency who do not tickle our fancy by charismatically woeing the support of “important” women and men? Either way, lets not throw soil into the wells we draw our waters from. The opposition may not live up to our standards, but it serves as a check and balance for the ruling party, shielding Tanzania against a tyranny of the majority that is posed by single party governance and politics. As a nation, let's work on bettering the opposition, and not forget how far we have come, from the once-upon-a-time, single party state to the living multi-party state. Opposition juu!!! Essy
