But I do not think that Tanzania will be led by a female president anytime soon more so, with a patriachially inclined society that favors male leaders over female leaders. It would take a cultural revolution for my "dream" to  ever come true. Yet, I see the likes of Bi. Getrude Mongella,  Bi. Ann Mkapa and Bibi Siti Mwinyi as pacesetters  in the trudge to have a woman-led Tanzania. Tanzania has had a series of male leaders for a very long time, and the nation is still plagued by poverty, illiteracy and the much dreaded AIDS. Along this vein, a  competent female president could be God's divine gift to Tanzaniakind, and I think it's time for women to arise and run for the  presidency with zeal and zest because a  female leader might be the cure for Tanzania. Just what Tanzania needs! Lol!!!   Essy
